Charities, Sign Up for Speaker's BureauCFC member charities are invited to sign up for the 2009 CFC Speaker's Bureau. This list is distributed to Campaign Coordinators, who use it to select charity representatives for speaking engagements and charity fairs. To sign up, please email the CFC Administrative Manager at Contact Us. Be a CFC Specialist!Want to learn more about the federal community while contributing to a great cause? Consider volunteering as a CFC Specialist! We need motivated, enthusiastic, and organized federal employees to support campaign coordinators in their efforts to raise funds for the CFC. We ask for 10-20 hours per week from each Specialist for six weeks in the fall. In return, Specialists receive training, professional development, networking with employees at other federal agencies, self-directed and independent CFC assignments, and, most importantly, the chance to use your skills to help raise money for CFC charities. Interested? Read the CFC Specialist Position Description and contact Ron Johnson at 503.326.2060 for more information! We are on Facebook!Show your support of the CFC and become a fan of our campaign online! If you have a Facebook account simply search for "Pacific Northwest CFC" and become a fan. You can also keep track of campaign events and fundraising progress. Not on Facebook? It's easy to set up a profile! 2009 CFC Theme: "Make a Choice, Make a Difference"The CFC Leadership Team is pleased to announce the 2009 CFC Theme: "Make a Choice, Make a Difference." The theme was selected from entries in the CFC Theme Challenge, in which federal employees in our region submitted their ideas for a campaign theme. Congratulations to Arturo Borja of the Transportation Security Administration in Eugene, who came up with the winning slogan. As we start the 2009 campaign, please "make a choice" to "make a difference" by volunteering with the CFC as a Specialist, Coordinator, or Keyworker, or by contributing to your office's campaign. Thank you to Arturo and to all the other coordinators and employees who submitted their ideas! 2008 News Archive
